ICE vs EVs

Take a look on very interesting site to compare the values for a gasoline car (ICE) and an all electric vehicle (EVs), you can set the state to different value in USA. What you observe is that all electric cars are ALWAYS better than gasoline cars when it comes to net emissions from fuel irrespective of the energy mix for electricity production. So cleaner the electricity production, the cleaner the electric vehicle. Of course, there are emissions related to the manufacturing of the batteries and the various components of the electric car. And so are emissions due to the manufacturing of an internal combustion engine car. For comparing the environmental impact of cars due to manufacturing, use and maintenance, a complete life cycle assessment of the vehicles is required.
