ICC Adopts Revisions To?Electric Supplier Rules (Part 412) And New Gas Supplier Rules (Part 512)
November 10, 2022
The Illinois?Commerce Commission approved earlier today, on a 4-0 vote, without comment, revisions?to the?Commission’s retail electric supplier rules (Part 412) and new gas supplier rules (Part 512).??The revisions to part 412 and new Part 512 had been reviewed by the Illinois General Assembly’s Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, who had provided the Commission with a certificate of no objection.
Earth Etch’s Illinois electric and gas products will be updated as necessary to reflect the final language of these rules, as approved.
As of early Thursday afternoon, the final order adopting these rules, and the final rule language, have not yet been posted on the Commission’s e-Docket site. Suppliers will have 6 months from the date of the ICC’s final orders to come into compliance with the revised 412 and new 512.?Accordingly, at this time it appears that suppliers will have to be in compliance with the revised Part 412 and new Part 512 on or around May 10, 2023.?
