?? Mexican Summer (with City Slang) released the new Jessica Pratt album Here in the Pitch , which just got a Best new Music commendation from Pitchfork alongside its 8.8 review . They call it a “…prime example of hypnagogic folk that quietly explores the simultaneity of time in all its misery, wonder, and promise.”
?? Captured Tracks released A Dream Is All We Know , the new album by The Lemon Twigs, which finds brothers Michaeland Brian D’addario exploring upbeat, shimmering arrangements that live in an imaginary space they call Mersey Beach: the sonic bridge between Liverpool and Laurel Canyon.
?? Father/Daughter released Steven , the sophomore album by NYC-based singer-songwriter Steven Raekwon Reynolds—who makes music under the moniker S. Raekwon.
?? Raw Tapes released Music for Superstars , the new record by Kapitan & Rejoicer, purveyors of “free-form ambient, instrumental music that touches the soul”.
SINGLES
?? Sooper released Too High To Die , the second single from the forthcoming Rami Gabriel LP, which is accompanied by a music video from filmmaker Stefan Fernandez.
?? Father/Daughter released a double single called Moth Penny Casino / The Way It Is by Perth, Australia singer-songwriter Mia June, which “…lays bare the complexities and contradictions of human emotion” and highlight her ability to “ceremoniously blend the rawness of connection into charged, undeniable songwriting.”
?? DFA released a new 7” (After Us/Look of Disgust ) from Museum Of Love, the musical project of Pat Mahoney and Dennis McNany. and I Got, She’s Got , the new single from Argentinian producer Fernando.
?? Paradise Music Group released Perfect , a new single from pestotrip.
?? H1 Massive shared the latest Joey Wit single, Slower , on all major streaming platforms.
REISSUES
?? Merge announced that they’ll be reissuing the 2000 masterpiece The Coroner’s Gambit by The Mountain Goats, which has long been out of print. It returns to CD and LP (and makes its cassette debut) on June 28th, with new liner notes by John Darnielle.
?? Propleller are releasing the first ever vinyl pressing of Stands for deciBels by The dB’s, the US power pop/jangle pop group who first came into prominence in the late 1970s. The record was cited by Pitchfork as one of its Top 100 Albums of the 1980s.

?? Suicide Squeeze are re-pressing Tunnel Blanket by Texan post-rock band This Will Destroy You, “…an ever-shifting, always moving work, which seems to evolve before the listener - spidery guitar lines feeling their way forth like vines scrambling up trunks in time-lapse photography.”

?? Royal Mountain have signed Fold Paper, a post-punk band led by the Nigeria-born, Michigan-raised and Winnipeg-based Chell?Osuntade and released their second ever single, Nothing To Report .
?? Fire Talk?announced they’ve signed Why Bonnie, the New York-based project of Blair Howerton, and released their new single/video, Dotted Line , the band’s first piece of new music since 2022 record 90 in November.
?? Sooper signed Chicago singer-songwriter & producer Carlile and released a video for new single My Neighborhood .
