Ibrahim Valikhodjaev
Ibragim Valikhodjaev was born in 1958 in Namangan, Uzbekistan. He is a contemporary artist who has his own significant and recognizable style. Valikhodjaev works in the genres of landscape paintings, portraits, and still life. His selection of painting tools is ultimately reserved and laconic. Sometimes works of Ibragim Valikhodjaev remind the Expressionism movement (1905 - 1933) which emerged in various cities across Germany. One of the best examples of Expressionism movement is Ernst Kirchner. Artist was not afraid to use expressive colors and undulating lines. Similarly, Valikhodjaev uses various colors and brushstrokes in his art works. You can see a difference between his “Conversation, 2010” and “Summer Flowers, 2008” paintings.
