IBM zDay 2023 Call for Papers is open !

I'm excited to share that our fall signature mega-event,?IBM zDay 2023 will take place on?18 October 2023! So be sure to save the date.

With more than 22,000 unique views from 114 countries in 2022, we anticipate that IBM zDay 2023 will be our biggest and boldest virtual conference ever, featuring over 70 sessions from 200+ industry experts and global thought leaders across 5 content-rich tracks. IBM zDay provides a unique opportunity to share your expertise with a vibrant, diverse, technical audience.

One of the questions I'm often asked is about the amount of expertise needed to be a speaker. Just like our amazing community, IBM zDay is diverse, and there's an opportunity for everyone, from students to IBM Champions, startups to large enterprises, new to IBM zSystems to IBM luminaries including Ross Mauri, Elpida Tzortzatos and Meredith Stowell.

This year’s event is looking for speakers on a variety of topics including:

• App modernization and Automation
• Digital Transformation
• Open source technology
• Hybrid cloud
• Data, AI and Machine Learning
• Security, privacy and resiliency
• Sustainability
• Client best practices / use cases
• Skills programs, talent showcase, career journeys and learning opportunities
• Industry best practices

Here’s a snapshot of the Submission Criteria:

• Submissions are due?Friday, June 30th, 11:59 pm PT
• All sessions must include a client, external industry expert or global visionary as a presenter, co-presenter or panelist with limited exceptions granted on a case-by-case basis
• Year over year, client-led sessions have been the most popular and viewed at IBM zDay and we expect a large audience in October 2023 for client sessions featuring use cases / best practices
• IBM Partner sessions?must include a client
• Sessions will be ~25 minutes long via livestream with a ~5 min interactive Q&A using the chat feature on BMA (BeMyApp) platform
