IBM EGL and REACT

When I had the IBM training for EGL 7.1 back in 2009 I was confused at why my team didn't accept this, they simply didn't want to change their ways. They let this platform down but even though I still haven't seen it pick up since then.

I am C# developer so when I saw EGL I was able to explain to the team how much they are missing on libraries and simply being able to develop on a higher platform. EGL was able to close the gap between what .NET gave to the developer community what the JAVA community was missing.

REACT is now the thing. I can see how easy and dynamic REACT is and the potential it brings to the development community.

I still fail to see how EGL was not able to pick-up its game and companies have never heard of it.
