IBM Cloud Infrastructure Center 1.1.3 is available!
Cloud Infrastructure Center is our Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering that provides a consistent, industry-standard user experience to I) define, instantiate, and manage the lifecycle of virtual infrastructure, II) deploy Linux operating systems plus applications that includes RHCOS as part of the RH OCP, and III) integrate IBM Z/LinuxONE with cloud management tools with built-in OpenStack-compatible APIs to provision and orchestrate cloud workloads.
IBM Cloud Infrastructure Center 1.1.3 enhancements include support for:
- Resizing of virtual machines, which are based on z/VM and RHEL KVM, through a command-line interface or API
- Live migration for RHEL KVM-based virtual machines from one host to another host with little or no downtime
- Improvements to volume and storage support, including booting from persistent storage, such as the IBM DS8000 series
- RHEL 7.9 and RHEL 8.3 as guest operating systems
