PAIN Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary!
With the release of the January 2025 issue of PAIN, the journal enters its 50th year of publication! As the journal reaches this milestone, Editor-in-Chief Karen Davis and Section Editor Jane Ballantyne not only look back at the past 50 years, but also forward to the future of the journal. 2025 marks the debut a brand-new article type, Pain Essays, overseen by Ballantyne.?The first Pain Essays will feature writings about the first four Editors-in-Chief of the journal, and promise to bring new dimensions to PAIN’s portfolio.
