What is your favorite aspect of your job? And how has it impacted your career?
I'm always up for a challenge, and I love how much my job allows me to creatively solve the ones we face. Every day is a new day that brings new challenges and opportunities to an array of exciting projects. I love getting to contribute and help with whatever needs to get done! While I started working here in April 2021, I can’t believe how much I've already learned and grown as a person. Regarding my career, there is no doubt that I am learning invaluable marketing skills, but also, I think I am truly learning how important it is to collaborate with a team. Everyone brings something different to the table and I love learning from those around me.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
I wake up and I can’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to work for a company like Modivcare. While I may not have the steadiest of hands needed to be a heart surgeon, or a psychology degree to give someone really good advice, this job allows me to play a part in getting people to the appointments that matter. I am so grateful that Modivcare took a chance on me to help market our powerful mission, and I am determined to continuously show up every day, even if that means getting up a little early ??.
What is the best advice you’ve ever heard?
“Any job worth doing, is worth doing well.” My grandpa always believed in putting 100% into everything, no matter the simplicity or complexity of the job. He was the hardest worker I know, and he never missed an opportunity to remind our family of this important lesson. I’m definitely no master at it, but his advice pushes me to work hard and always try my best in everything I do.

Dear Modivcare, I'm having a horrible experience with your app and ride service. I downloaded the app because trying to get past your automated attendant to book a ride was frustrating. "She" could not understand the word, "NO," when I said over and over that I did not want to download the app. So I downloaded the app and set it up--which took close to an hour as I attempted to book the first?ride.?The app kept changing the requested time.?? I tried to call the technical support.?I tried to check on the ride support.?I work full time and have a job to tend to.?This should not require this much attention. It's now Saturday morning.?I called to check on the status of the ride.?It's booked. BUT...I am in CALIFORNIA helping my mom who is in FLORIDA. It appears that her 11 a.m. EST time?is booked for pick up at 7:15 a.m. in the morning.?The ride scheduler on the phone assured me that the ride is for 10:15 a.m.?? This was another 40 minutes out of my life this morning.?? IN THE MEANTIME, I STILL HAVE A LOUSY APP THAT IS CAUSING ME A LOT OF HEADACHES.?HOW DO WE FIX THE TIME?
