I wonder why they didn't name us Mercanis?

If you look closely, you can see our name lives in the heart of the word "commercialize", but I wonder if Mercanis would have hit closer to home. After all our our legacy TrialCard team is best known for our "CAN DO" attitude.

Even though we've outgrown our original building, and our ability to house Fast50 trophies in our lobby, we have never outgrown our internal sense of family. In that sense, we were integrated before intraoperability was a thing.

When I think back to 2015 when I started on the HCP Engagement team, we had to forge a path for an HCP service in a company that had only patient service teams. It took a lot of walking the halls and asking then complete strangers a myriad of questions. It struck me then that this was a family with bonds forged in steel aligned to a single mission - help patients by helping the manufacturers. And this was not an easy family to join. The interviewing process was intense.

As of Tuesday, I was 8 years into my TrialCard adventure. Now I'm reenergizing that adventure as part of Mercalis, where the patients come first, the clients are family, and the CAN DO attitude is stronger than ever.

I guess that's why some of our clients have been with our HCP Engagement services since we started. They also see that spirit in all we do.

WeAreMercanis ... oops #WeAreMercalis
