I Wish Someone Had Told Me Sooner – A Letter to College Students
Among the biggest regrets I hear from highly successful insurance agents are these: I wish I had started sooner. I wish someone had told me to look here. I wish I had known, when I was considering career options, what an incredible life I could build for myself in this industry! While most of our agents are grateful to have landed in the industry whenever they did – better late than never! – if you’re currently completing your degree and are considering your options, YOU are in an incredible position that most of us in the industry simply never experienced. Sounds inspiring – but what are we talking about here – insurance? Seriously? If you’re anything like me, “insurance” isn’t exactly a buzzword in your future vision for your life and career. In fact, even throughout the course of your studies, you’ve probably never given it so much as a moment’s interest. Neither did I. Neither did most of us.
