"I Wish I Had A Pair Of Rose Tinted Glasses"

You look at the world through rose tinted glasses.

You see the world in bright, vivid colors,

of reds and yellows, blues and greens.

I wish I had a pair of those rose tinted glasses

so that I might see the world as you.

I think it might help make a difference if I were

to change my lenses.

It might in turn enable me to come up with

a different view.

Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in an old

movie projector.

The film is always in reels of back and white.

And I don't get to see the colors.

How pleasant it must be to have your perception.

Funny how one's impression can turn dark into light,

and black and white into color.

When you see in only black and white it mixes together

and turns into grey.

I think it's time to change my lenses.

I think it's time to view the images on the screen

in a different way.

Maybe I need a pair of those rose tinted glasses

to see things in color.

Maybe it's time to change.
