IF I WERE PRESIDENT OF MY COUNTRY I WOULD:-

IF I WERE THE PRESIDENT OF MY COUNTRY I WOULD:-

1. Know and see to it that my main purpose and function is to work together with and assist my country and its people to attain their desired individual and collective goals and objectives and not to defraud, lead, govern, control, manage or boss them.    

2. Know and see to it that the main purpose and function of government is not to collect taxes and to deliver public services, but to ensure that, through the use of the public purse, people have access to all their basic human rights and needs and also to all the needed public services, and that everyone contributes to and benefits from the public purse, from each according to their capacity to contribute, and to each according to their own needs. 

3. Know and see to it that, as the main custodian and controller-in-chief of the public purse, government is the ultimate insurer and underwriter and not necessarily the provider of all social protection services, and that the right to the public purse is also a basic human right as well, and that this right is realised and respected by everyone concerned.    

4. Know and see to it that people and their communities have access to their right to all the natural resources which, by the Grace of God, are found within and around them, and that no one should take away this right from them, not even government or the state.
