I Want To Know Why...

Reinventing travel planning with AI | Making dream vacations a reality without the planning headache
- No matter how much I save I still end up broke
- I can tell you about a newspaper I read 2 years ago but cannot remember the math formula I spent the last 30 minutes memorizing
- My mom doesn't like sugary foods but can be bribed with ice-cream and chocolate bars
- People who have a seemingly normal childhood join gangs
- People cheat on their partners and blame it on the devil
- My sister gets angry every time she cleans but says she loves cleaning
- My former roommate religiously went grocery shopping every month but had take-outs for dinner.
- I can't stick to any diet or exercise plan
- I do 99% of the things I do
- People start their sentence with don't take this the wrong way when they are about to say something wrong
- We think our feelings are validation to hurt others
- We feel entitled even to things we have no claim on.
- All my ideas freeze up the moment I take pen to paper.
I want to know why all the ideas I have for a story freeze up the moment I put pen to paper. I
have been trying to start a book for the longest time but every time I decide to start one, my
brain goes completely blank. I stare at the blinking cursor until I give up and just read a book
instead. I do a great job of critiquing books `written by others: helping other writers adjust
their plot, story-lines and even conversations. I can tell a story verbally but once I make the
decision to put the ideas down, it all goes poof. I should probably stick to book editing or
critiquing. Thank heavens I do not plan to make a living out of writing...
