I WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU!

I often get private messages regarding my articles that conclude with this, "I wish I lived near you so I could meet you and get to know you better."

I feel the same way.

Reading posts from smart men and women around the world excites me. I love to learn from their experiences. I am intrigued by their educational backgrounds along with their mindset, which is, of course, ingrained into their being primarily based upon the prevalent culture of their country. But their perspective is unique. Even if I disagree, their message makes me stop and think...and I gain valuable insight.

I respond by telling them if they really want to know who I am, they should read my book, ALL DREAMS MATTER - LAWS FOR SUCCESS FROM SCIENCE & SCRIPTURE, available on Amazon.

October 30 is my birthday. It is also my son Brent's birthday. He is by far the best present I was ever given. Brent died on June 4, 2014. He was my first love, my first authentic heartbeat. Today I am mindful of those around the world who have also lost a loved one. How do we find comfort when they are violently taken from us? I have spent days, months and now years wondering "Why."

WHY GOD WHY?

And then I remember my own advice. If I want to know the mind of God, I need to read his book, The Maker Manual, also known as the Bible. If you are struggling today with situations that seem beyond you, I encourage you to find a Bible and read it. Get to know the mind of God. You will find that we are spiritually connected to each other and to our creator and that God's plan for us is to be reunited in eternity. You might begin with Jeremiah 29:11.

"For I know the thoughts that I have for you"....thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
