I Want To Gain Full Custody Of My Child(ren)!

When seeking to change child custody arrangements, make sure to keep up the ones you currently have. Continue to stick to any custody schedules and/or child support payments. Custody schedules can be proven by submitting parenting plans in court so make sure to maintain records of your arrangments and keep documents such as receipts or letters.

No matter the relationship or conflict you may have with your child's other parent ALWAYS be respectful and courtesy because this WILL affect your case. Also, make sure to frequently check-in and call your child to ensure that they know you are there to offer assistance and support. Its also important to be there for events (birthdays, performances, etc) as the court will rely on this as evidence of a meaningful relationship.

Prepare your home and make a plan for your child. Create a space for your child and be sure to have adequate living accommodations during all hearings for child custody. Expect questions about education, extracurricular activities, and finances from the judge.

If you need to modify your child custody arrangement someone who has experienced the process can offer insight and let you know what to expect.
