ANNOUNCEMENT: In my email newsletter, I announced a new featured section which I am really excited to also share with my LinkedIn subscribers.

In continuing with the corporate jargon theme, this new section is called NETWORKING. One subscriber is chosen every week to share a part of their career story and social media links in order to grow their network. This is your chance to STAND OUT and create a community of like-minded supporters around you. I love hearing career stories and I know others do too. It gives us something to relate to, reflect on or be inspired by.

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

BLINC update from Bianca.?Follow along my entrepreneurial journey!

Here at BLINC, I have taken on new business consulting clients with inbound marketing and sales automation projects. I love revenue growth projects and am super excited to dive in and share our process building wins with you all over the coming weeks.

I have also been focused on SEO and web traffic behavior for biancalager.com. Lots of in-the-weeds technical work mixed with a good amount of design and creativity. I've made some adjustments to the MyPathUP waitlist page, started a new LinkedIn Group, gave the Digital Success Tracker landing page a glow up, and improved my value proposition copy on my homepage. Next, I'm starting a new 15-day workshop with my guru Amy Porterfield (always be learning!). Next, I will be turning my attention on my Bookings page. Based on traffic data, this is the last page folks visit on my site before they exit. It needs a glow up to improve conversions and I have some great ideas....

  1. Do Gen Z workers lack soft skills? Managers are worried about their younger hires lacking soft skills, according to a recent Harris Poll survey. About 82% of managers said Gen Z requires more training around interpersonal skills including speaking with senior leadership and receiving feedback. Gen Z largely agrees, with 78% reporting workplace norms can’t be taught, apart from watching older colleagues in action... Read more
  2. Choosing work-life balance over pay. Among U.S. employees, 51% said they would choose to take a 20% pay cut if it allowed them to “achieve a lifestyle that prioritized my quality of life.” Millennials were the generation most likely to agree with that statement; 60% said they would be willing to take a pay cut for more time outside of work. Just one third of U.S. baby boomers agreed with that statement, making them the generation least likely to say they would prefer a pay cut. But work-life balance is still important to them — baby boomers are simultaneously the most likely to say it isn't worth it to take a job that increases personal stress....Read more.
