I Want To Change But I Don’t Know How To Do That
Changing how we do things isn’t easy. We do what we do a certain way because we’ve always done those things a certain way. Our parents may have even taught us to do things a certain way and we follow their guidance because they are our parents.
However, somewhere along the way we realise that we keep making the same mistakes and those mistakes are taking a toll.
We may keep getting the same horrible bosses; or finding ourselves with the same awful co-worker. We may find people who are supposed to be our friends yet seem to drain our energy or bank balance! ?We may find our relationships keep self-destructing or we may be in a never-ending cycle of spending and getting into debt.
We know that what we’re doing clearly isn’t working, but we simply don’t know how to change.
I’ve been running a series of webinars: one month I run a session for businesspeople on a business topic and the following month I run a session focusing on personal/career growth.
This month’s webinar ‘I want to change but don’t know how to do that’ focuses on:
·????????Understanding what got you to where you are (learned behaviours, choices, peer pressure?)
·????????Taking stock of your latent talents (and you DO have latent talents)
·????????Listening to your internal messages (particularly health messages)
·????????Understanding the ‘cheese’ paradox
·????????Following the signs and there are always signs
There are 7 key areas of our lives and keeping them all well oiled can be a challenge. There will be a pre session questionnaire so you can rank how you are faring in each of them, and a chance to choose ONE area you want help with right now.
During the webinar we will discuss:
·????????Fears, concerns and even family/friend/partner resistance to you deciding to make changes
·????????The need to work out who will support you in the changes and some strategies for dealing with anyone who may be offended that you are daring to change
·????????Why change isn’t linear! We may take a couple of steps forward and then find ourselves going a few steps backwards. The vital part of wanting to change is determination.
If you even remotely suspect that there are areas of your life/career that no longer serve you and you are serious about making changes, then I urge you to join me on:
