I walk into GNC and I see shelves full of nutrition supplements. All I want is a supplement that fits the description of: building muscle mass. I walk over the the protein section and within 30 seconds a sales associate is breathing down my neck.
“So what can I help you with”
“I am trying to find a supplements that allows me to build muscle mass. But I don’t want to add any fat.”
“Oh okay well this one is perfect for you. This has a proprietary blend focusing on muscle growth and development. See creatine is in this too.”
“Okay how much.”
“70 dollars with your GNC gold card, 80 without.”
“Perfect!”
So I make the purchase and go home can’t wait to try it. The supplement is called 1450. Why is it called 1450? Because their are exactly 1450 calories in one serving of this. Sounds healthy huh?
Fast forward a month later and I realize I bought a tub of nothing but fillers.
This was the naive me 4 years ago before I decided to dive into nutrition. There are so many products, but not enough correct information. This is why I created nutrition deconstructed. Lets strip every label down and figure out why the product is good or why the product may be harmful. This is why I teamed up with the best nutrition companies to work with and correct these supplements. That’s exactly what a product should do, help the body in its normal function. Let me help you not make the same mistakes.
