Is there anyone else out there who is getting bored and fed up with the number of personal life posts (Facebook is for that!) or wild life photographs?? - is there not a more suitable site for this type of post

If it doesn't concern business, business opportunities, jobs or brain stimulating ideas then it doesn't belong on LinkedIn

I agree. But there are many personal impacts from the bearish food markets and clearly hard times ahead due to bankruptcy and business rationalizations.
