I Thought This Was It ....

Hello everyone! ??

After my no Zoom August, I feel like I’ve spent all week on it! ??

Lots of 121 calls and a couple of group sessions, one for How To Launch and Grow a Training Business and one for my Trainer Talk membership.?

When I’m ‘Zooming’ I like to feel prepared, composed and ready to give people my full attention.

I really hate being late, and feeling dishevelled or flustered, as sometimes happens when I come back from a dog walk! ??

If you have been following the adventures of Lily over the last couple of years you will know that really she should have been a cat, as she has used up most of her proverbial 9 lives!

She’s run off into other people’s gardens and has had to be brought back. ??

She’s made her way back home from town, crossing several roads after chasing a squirrel. ???

She was hanging off the edge of a cliff (I kid you not) and almost had to be rescued by the coastguards before she worked out how to get herself back up. A seagull was involved in that one. ??

She has emerged from the undergrowth with her face all cut and bleeding after chasing rabbits. ??

Tired of the stress of all this, a few months ago I bought a GPS tracker and honestly, she has been so good since then, I’ve been thinking I barely need it.

Till this morning!!

I let her off the lead in the usual place and instead of heading into the woods she turned around and ran across a field. I didn’t think too much of it at first but as I got to the end of the field by the road I noticed there were 3 cars stacked up.

This is it, I thought.

She’s been knocked over.

My heart thumping, I came round the corner onto the road…

And there she was.

Bold as brass, in the middle of the road eating the contents of a bin that had been torn apart by foxes! ??

Clearly I have another thing to add to the list of dog hazards….

BIN DAY! ???

I was going to write about accountability but I’ll leave it till next week when, hopefully, I’ll be in a calmer frame of mind.
