I Thank God For My Earthly Father

I thank God for my earthly father, He was given to me by Grace! My dad set the example of Christ in many many areas of his life. My dad is a great example to me!

I always respected my dad and had an incredible awe in my heart for him. He was and is my hero in so many areas of my life. His relationship with the Lord is real. It is not showy, it is real, important things are important to my dad and unimportant things are unimportant. He seemed to be able to take the Word of God and really see what was there, despite what someone else wanted him to see there.

His relationship with my mom, has been a tremendous example to our family! The kiss in the kitchen every day when he returned home from work is a precious memory. I never wanted to be disrespectful to mom, for one, she was wonderful but for another, I cannot imagine what dad would have done to correct me..

Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be born to Frank and Jewelldene Beickel!!
