I shared a giggle with two strangers yesterday

I was in the post office, lined up to get some envelopes and stamps to send out my new book, Unshakeable at Work. An older, male, customer in the line ahead of me was carrying on at the young couple serving him. He was ranting about AusPost not delivering his parcel to his door, and how he had to get a TAXI to the post office to pick up his parcel, and he wants THEM to re-reimburse his taxi fare, blah, blah, blah, this is so unfair because he has ALREADY PAID FOR POSTAGE blah blah blah.... He went on and on. The poor couple tried to explain to him that it was out of their control, but he wouldn't listen, he just kept raising his voice, and blaming them.
Eventually, he collected his parcel and huffed and puffed as he left. I put about 16 copies of my book on the counter. 'Is this your book?' the young guy asked me, seeing my photo on the cover. I replied, 'Yes'. He asks me what it is about. 'It's about dealing with grumpy customers'. All three of us start laughing hysterically. To their credit, they didn't bag the grumpy customer out, they remained professional and continued to serve me. They helped me package up the 16 copies and send them off.
I thanked them and left, went out to my car, grabbed a copy, walked back into the post office and gave it to them!
