I set myself a challenge and....
The global COVID pandemic may not be featuring in the news as it did this time last year, but its effects are still impacting in many ways. During "Lockdown" I decided to embark on a distance learning course with Lewis College. I decided to study Medical Terminology, Level II with ncfe accreditation, as I find this topic really fascinating.
One year later, having completed the course, I confess that facing an exam was rather daunting. However, I am delighted to report that I passed!
It's true that learning helps to keep your brain healthy, so it's good to keep challenging it. The more the we make our brain work as we get older, the better it will cope in later life.
So, if you are thinking about doing something different, learning a new skill, starting a new hobby, I would say: "Go for it"!
Huge thanks to my tutor, Rebecca Harvey, and Simon Scaysbrook of Lewis College. #Rebecca Harvey #Simon Scaysbrook #@Lewis College - UK and International.
