I Say Django is the cooked food in some parallel Framework World.
Welcome,
Yes, The title is weird in its own way until you read this article.
Before we dive in to the cooked food, I don’t know how many of you will agree with me but in a broad sense I could argue that the world evolves the way a person evolves.
Since we used the word “World†, let’s start from it. I mean, the first yuga which is called as “Satya Yuga†or “Krita Yugaâ€.
Basically, in this yuga all the exciting things were discovered like the discovery of fire and invention of wheel. Yeah, it is basic but revolutionary advancements for future progress.
Coming to next yuga, called as “Treta Yuga†where the development of written language, agriculture, establishment of early civilization and early forms of engineering. In “Dvapara Yuga†, the main conflict was a rise in human desires and inequalities.
Now the yuga that we are living called as “Kali Yugaâ€, where the main branches of all yugas created a term “Artificial Intelligenceâ€.
Earth-616
Human civilization is an intricate fabric that marks each era with groundbreaking leaps in technology and information, thus leading to a redefinition of our everyday life. From the very beginning of time, our ancestors depended on what was locally available and changed it to suit their purposes as they moved into the future. Food and fire show how we have developed in terms of technology and frameworks.
During the beginning of yugas, our ancestors used to hunt down wild animals and survive on their fresh meat. In those days, it was their way of life and they did not know anything better than that. But eventually time passed by and they saw fire as a miracle. At first they would create sparks from two stones then ignite dry leaves or branches which led to this discovery changing everything for them at once followed by cooking the meat so that it could become safe to eat while also containing nutrients.
As humanity progressed, so did our methods. From striking stones, we invented matches, and eventually, the modern lighter which is a compact, reliable tool that creates fire at the flick of a thumb. Each step was a leap forward, making life easier, safer, and more efficient.

Earth-F
Now, let’s draw a parallel world of web development frameworks. In the early days of web development, simple static pages and basic server-side scripting were the norms. Developers worked with what they had, much like the ancestors in Earth-616 eating raw meat. Over time, more sophisticated frameworks emerged, each improving on the last, just as the discovery of fire improved our ancestors’ diet.
Django, the lighter of the web development world. Why would we use stones or the unpredictability of raw meat when we have the precision and reliability of a lighter and the nourishment of cooked food? Django embodies this advanced technology, integrating powerful features and robust security into a seamless, efficient framework.
With Django, we don’t just create; we craft with precision and confidence. Its “batteries-included†philosophy means we have everything we need right out of the box — an intuitive ORM, a built-in admin interface, comprehensive security features, and more. It’s like having a well-equipped kitchen with a modern stove, oven, and all the utensils, rather than relying on a primitive fire pit.
In this modern age, choosing Django is similar to choosing cooked food over raw, a lighter over striking stones. It’s about embracing advancement, efficiency, and security. Just as our ancestors evolved to improve their lives, we, too, evolve in our tools and technologies. Why go back to raw when we have the means to cook? Why choose a less advanced framework when Django offers us a superior, more advanced solution?
In this ever-evolving digital yuga, Django stands as a advanced progress, a testament to our ability to innovate and improve. It’s the advanced tool that propels us forward, just as fire once did for our ancestors. So, why settle for less when we can embrace the best?
So, What happened in Earth-F Yugas?
Satya Yuga (Krita Yuga): The foundation of modern web development, such as early HTML, basic CGI scripts, and simple static websites.
Treta Yuga: The development of early server-side scripting languages like PHP, basic CMS systems, and frameworks that introduced more dynamic content.
Dvapara Yuga: Advanced frameworks like Ruby on Rails and the initial versions of Django, which brought structured approaches to web development.
Kali Yuga: Modern, sophisticated framework Django represents a high level of abstraction and ease of use, but also dealing with issues like scalability, security, and ethical considerations in AI and data privacy.
This progression shows how technology evolves to meet the needs of its time, just as society advances through the yugas. It highlights the importance of continuous improvement and adaptation to leverage new advancements and meet growing demands.
Note: It doesn’t mean that the previous yugas were wrong or inferior; they were perfect for their time and laid the essential foundations. However, as the world evolves, we must adapt and embrace new advancements. Just like how humanity progressed from the Satya Yuga to the Treta Yuga, and so on, our technological frameworks also evolve. While early technologies and frameworks served us well and taught us valuable lessons, modern frameworks like Django offer more advanced features, better security, and greater efficiency, enabling us to meet today’s complex demands. Embracing this evolution allows us to stay relevant and continue to innovate.
But in the end, I crave for cooked food.
