I READ MY LIFE STORY IN THIS BOOK

So I got this amazing book and started reading it.

It's forwarded by Pastor Walu and on the first few pages I read about this story which sounded exactly like my life story.

Then I realized later on it was actually me. The author writes,

'Our journey of self-discovery will only be successful when you decide to discover yourself by walking a journey of self-discovery.

“Where you come from, doesn't determine where you end up in life.” The same is true with discovering yourself. A well-known friend who is an author and nurse by profession is an example, he was born in a less developed village and changed his story after becoming responsible of his life.

In 2008 he saw an urban environment for the first time after passing his grade seven. In that village, people get married at a younger age which was the same age as his and was expected to marry but he chose not to marry, he instead chose to focus on his studies and passed his grade seven which opened his doors to urban life. He went to town but couldn't start school because of financial challenges.

He, however, didn't become discouraged but started going to school and sat by the gate to watch his fellow pupils which was painful but pushed him to do better and started borrowing books from them to study individually.

The self-study enabled a discovery of his reading, writing, and speaking skills which he wrote on plain paper with a plan to make money from their use. The journey continued as he looked for a place to write exams from after his self-study which also gave him an interest in reading self-development and self-improvement books.

Isaac Pomboloka passed his grade 12 with great points after going through various endeavors which also made him a star in school mathematics Olympiad competitions which he took part in and always won despite the challenges at that time. This helped him know what he wanted out of life and started discovering his strengths.

The transformation of his life begun when he decided to start utilizing his skill of writing and gifts of reading and speaking, after realizing that great things in one's life only happen when one takes responsibility and becomes resourceful.

He began to utilize his potential by asking for a class to teach. Eventually, he opened his tuition center where he charged K100 per person after deciding to be resourceful by using his talents, gifts, and skills.

You must realize that fortune lies in resourcefulness. If he wanted, he would not have opened a tuition center which helped him utilize his skill, gift, and talent which led to his self-discovery. But he opened it to apply his skills, gifts, and talent which made him better. The solutions we seek are inside of us but can only be achieved after undergoing the process of self-discovery, great things will only begin after discovering yourself by knowing your gifts, talents, skills.
