I HAVE GROWN TIRED, MOTHER...

I have grown tired of too many behaviour patterns around the world...

I have grown tired of listening to the silence in respect to the abominations perpetrated on the Rohingya people by the Myanmar government...

I have grown tired of watching 'border protection' forces denying entry to countries which refugees who have lost everything have tried to reach by land and by sea, after risking all to escape persecution in their own homelands... 

I have grown tired of the repetitive railing against athletes who 'take the knee', not as disrespect to their own country, its flag and its fallen, but as a stand against the ever-present prejudices which still poison one of the supposedly free-est countries in the world...

I have grown tired of the assorted charges of anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism against various political figures of all parties in my own homeland, deflecting attention from the appalling situation where over one million people depend on food banks to eat...

I have grown tired at recognising the farce based on a cacophony of raucous lies from both sides that is the Brexit/ Remainer campaigns, costing billions of pounds so far, and likely to disrupt the conduct of Europe's trade flows for at least a generation...

I have grown tired, Mother, because this list could continue for many, countless, more paragraphs...

...but I am thankful for my own health, such as it is, and for people who love me unconditionally... and I realise that that is much, much more important than all the universe... to any and all who read this thus far, whether or not you agree with me, thank you for you... see yeez later... LUV YEEZ!...
