First, let me tell you how it all started.
?2017
This client:
→17yrs+ in the Electrical business.
→It was a big business
→but Sales was low.
*(I MEAN VERY LOW).

The Client insisted to:
→Fire the existing marketing team.
→Hire new people.
→Give them a fresh target.
*This made me SAD.??

Why?
Bcos, he had fired a previous team (months ago).
(And…a while back too).

I knew this was not GOING TO WORK
(but he insisted).

I had to make 3 important changes:

1/ I changed the marketing team.
→He approved of each new member.
→ I outlined a new strategy for the marketing team.
** But... this was not my proposed solution.

2/ I proposed an alternative strategy (WHY?)
→I wanted to make lead generation faster.
→ I wanted to reduce the cost of lead generation.
**I wanted him to have 2 options to choose from.

What I did:
→I reached out to an Electricians Association of over 6000 people.
?→ Made them an irresistible offer.

3/ 4months to monitor and pick which strategy was better.
-- Marketing Team (MT) vs Electricians Affiliate (EA)

This was the breakdown of income generated

→ Month 1: MT was < $2500 | EA was $0
→Month 2: MT was $1300+ | EA was $8500
→Month 3: MT was 0 | EA was $45000+
→Month 4: MT was <$200 | EA was over $139,000+
→Month 5: MT continued struggling | EA kept increasing

So…Why did this lead generation strategy work?
Because I understood the target audience’s PROBLEM PATH.

??Every electrical project>>>has an electrician.

??When anyone has an electrical issue>>>they look for an electrician.

-- Electricians know where most electrical projects are.
--They are the 1st line of interaction with the customer.
-- By building a network of Electrician Affiliates, we reduced the cost of marketing.
**We only paid the electricians for results.
