I Never Saw It This Way Until Today.

My son cried for the rest of the biscuit this Sunday morning.
He cried like he wanted everything NOW.
But his 9-month-old younger brother also wanted to take from it.
Well, I, too, was very hungry.
So, I shared the five pieces of coaster biscuit among the three boys.
Father took 2?, first son got 2 and second son got ? of a piece. All equals 5 pieces of coaster biscuit.
Yes, the one that goes for NGN20 ($0.049).
Background:
I had bought half carton of coaster biscuit earlier from which that one was taken. (Trust my boys, the thing is being given adequate attention...lol).
A nylon carrying the biscuit is hung on our bedroom window without his knowledge of the content.
He sees the nylon hanging everyday without knowing what is inside.
So, he never bothered us about it.
If he knew, he would always pilot us to the window for biscuit until none remains hanging there. (I trust him to deliver on that).
So, while he cried, a string of thoughts flurried through my mind.
This is how we worry for things we have in abundance.
We lose sight of God's provision and despise His supplies while we resort to self-help because the blessings seem delayed.
That we haven't seen them manifest doesn't mean we don't have them.
If my son had trusted that I will give him more biscuit and 'believed' I love him, he wouldn't have cried.
He would go about rejoicing in the fact that I Love him.
#Friends, do you believe Jesus loves you and will provide for you?
If you still don't trust Him to take care of you, it is because you haven't trusted Him with your life.
And you haven't trusted Him enough to stop yourself from self-helping your situation.
Please understand this that man is never designed to depend on his own self for life and living. Think about this for a moment and prove me wrong. I'll be willing to learn.
All of life begins and ends in Love, yes, the Love of God through Jesus Christ the Messiah.
In this, we will learn to trust Him for everything while we do our part by positioning ourselves for Him to do His work in and through us.
Note: Trusting God doesn't translate into laziness, docility or stupidity.
