2002 - Shy software engineer lands a role on a multi billion dollar project as a DOORS Administrator (bonus points for anyone who has ever even heard of DOORS)

2009 - 7 years of developing scripts (i.e. apps) for this platform which otherwise is tedious and manual. Not knowing much about the impact they are having because I was the coder hiding behind my lead who was the one interacting with the end users.

2010 - I am starting to get flooded with requests from people to show them how to use the apps.

2011 - I find?Allison Sheridan?on the other side of the country who advises me that I should start a Wiki to document my team's software. I ask to be cDOORS community co-owner with Stephen Valliere and Sara Martin .

2012 - Most visited wiki at a company of over 65,000 with 30,000 hits. Kay Guerry?introduces me to creating video tutorials and gives me my own channel.

2013 - I am on a one way ticket from Boston to Los Angeles for my dream job (2 years prior I wrote a blog post as part of running the DOORS community and was discovered by someone on Los Angeles)

(all hell breaks loose)

2014-2017 I am rescued by Rick Steiner ?? Mercy O'Hoyt ?? Chuck Nourrcier who sticks me onto his team (technical staff for the directory of systems engineering).

2017 - Chuck retires and I get recycled back into the bureaucracy.

2019 - I go to the highest bidder on the market (via LinkedIn ) and leave behind 'my baby' which is now the company standard for DOORS use.
