"I never knew you played guitar!"
Steve Woodruff
The elevator pitch is dead - let's get to the point with your Memory Dart! I'll show you how to introduce yourself and your business with outstanding clarity. #ClarityWins #ConfusionLoses
Well, I don't - the Steve Woodruff you know has the musical talent of a roll of paper towels.
But when YouTuber and musical maestro Rick Beato heard this remark from one of his subscribers, he was dumbfounded.
I mean - look at that studio packed to the gills with guitars and amps!!
Why this crazy remark? It's a cool story about how we can NEVER assume that people have "gotten the message." Check it out on my blog!
"Steve is a master at quickly condensing a complex concept into a concise thought. His memory dart concept is genius." -Craig Andrews, Author, Podcast host, and Principal Ally, allies4me

From the Clarity Channel: What can I do for YOU?
Behind the curtain...(please read)
I've been a solopreneur for about 20 years, a work/lifestyle that is both exhilarating and terrifying. Mostly, I don't talk much about the hardships behind the curtain.
But the nearly complete radio silence from my corporate clients over the past 3 months has been deeply perplexing. Apparently, I'm not the only training provider experiencing this.
If your team can benefit from Clarity workshops on leadership, personal branding, email, presentations, and meetings - I'm ready to help.
If you need to toss that old elevator pitch out the window in favor of something much better - the Memory Dart - that's what I do.
Please reach out and let me know how I can serve you. It makes for a great Simon & Garfunkel tune, but the Sound of Silence is the worst nightmare for a small business.
Just for fun
One of the best things about networking is all the unexpected stories people have in their history.
Did you know that my great-grandfather (William Windom) was a Secretary of the Treasury, and appeared on a 2-dollar bill?
And a cousin - another William Windom, the actor - played Commodore Decker in one famous Star Trek episode (for you Trekkies out there: The Doomsday Machine).
