I needed an audit yesterday, can I get my food safety cert tomorrow?

One of the most widely asked questions my team at WQS Food Verification is:
"When do I get my food safety certificate?"
Actually we get this same question asked in a variety of different ways, some more colorful than others, like . . .
"I had my audit yesterday, when will I get my certificate?"
Or . . .
"It has been 5 days since my audit, what is taking you so BEEEEEPing long?"
Or my favorite . . .
"My client asked me for my GFSI food safety cert a few months ago and now will not buy from me unless I get one. I have a shipment pending, can I have my audit tomorrow?"
Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) food safety audits are fully accredited by the International Organization for Standards, or ISO. While Certification Bodies, like WQS, can help you expedite the process we still ALWAYS have to follow a VERY strict process.
Angela, one of WQS Process Analysts, created a great short video walking you through all the steps we both need to follow from application through certification (see below).
Please let us know if this video helps and what other videos you would like us to create.

If you wanted an audit tomorrow, you should have planned for it at least 4 - 6 months ago. Also you will only get a certificate if you pass with a reasonable score that is acceptable to the organization providing the certificate.
