I Need Your Help

Those were the four words I said to my friend via text a few days ago.??See, I had been working on a few different projects and was not getting the result that I wanted, so I went to somebody who had the results I wanted in the area in which I was tackling.??See as a coach, my job is to bring into awareness to my clients their blind spots, new strategies, and provide support and assistance to them…and that is exactly how I run my life.?

See, asking for help is not a sign of weakness or ignorance but rather a sign of humility, strength, and growth.??I was comfortable asking for help, because the results that I was after were more important to me than the way I was doing things, the way I was thinking, and the lack of results I was experiencing.??Any great coach, performer, artist, even parent usually has mentorship in a variety of areas, primarily because we all share the following in common: we do not know what we do not know.?

I encourage you to look at your life and see what is one area in your life is that you would like to transform and then ask somebody who you trust and is credible in that area to?support you.??It may seem like a small task, but to many it can feel quite daunting because of the vulnerability required…but do it anyways.

As a recovering lone wolf, learning how to be supported has been a journey that I have learned to enjoy and learn from.??My life is much more fulfilled because I have a greater community that I contribute to and contributes to me.?
