I need your help...

I am racing IRONMAN COEUR D'ALENE through Team Ironman Foundation and have a goal to raise $3500 to support the local community!

Please help me reach my goal by making a donation on my personal fundraising website at: CLICK HERE!!!

***Please feel free to share this link on your Facebook page for me***

With such a big personal commitment ahead of me, I have decided to make this IRONMAN journey more than just about me. I have partnered with The IRONMAN Foundation as a TEAM IMF Athlete and have committed to fundraise at least $3,500 for our race communities.

I can’t do this alone and I need your help.

All money raised through the Team IMF program will benefit The IRONMAN Foundation, and specifically - the Community Fund Program. This program benefits those in the communities where IRONMAN events are held, by providing charitable support to a variety of local non-profit organizations that recognize citizens in need and provide support to the local community. Within those communities, The IRONMAN Foundation will provide grant funding opportunities to non-profit organizations, while also working with community leaders to identify projects that will benefit the community and provide funding to support those initiatives. The IRONMAN Foundation has provided funding opportunities of over $34 million dollars to numerous non-profit beneficiaries worldwide.

Here are just a few ways The IRONMAN Foundation (and donors) helped in 2016:

  • Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County, TX will serve 5,460 meals to homebound seniors over the next 12 months thanks to a $10,000 grant provided by IRONMAN Foundation Athletes.
  • 40 veterans, civilians, and youth with disabilities in Boulder, CO will gain exposure to life-changing adaptive sports activities through an IRONMAN Foundation grant to Paradox Sports. Paradox Sports not only supports individuals in discovering what they are capable of, but also creates adaptive sport communities that connect people who have disabilities with able-bodied individuals.
  • A $15,180 donation to the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group will be used to procure a complete set of portable radios for technical mountain search and rescue response and field communications.
  • The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Coeur d’Alene, ID can now offer the 3rd grade swim program at a discounted rate of $5 (typically $22) per student. The 3rd grade swim program teaches life-saving skills and will impact 1,096 students.
  • A $10,000 grant was provided to the DOVE Center of St. George, UT to increase community awareness and prevention education to reduce incidents of domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • The Adirondack Medical Center of Lake Placid, NY was awarded $5,690 to purchase a DartFish camera system that will be used to help athletes improve their abilities by gait analyses, biomechanical foot/ankle assessment, and functional movement screening as well as nutritional education. This grant will also allow for the establishment of a scholarship system for area high school running programs to utilize this technology.
