I need your help...

This Thursday, I’ve decided to give up my bed… and sleep out rough for one night. I will be out in the elements with nothing more than some clothes, a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard.

Why? Along with 100 (ish) other CEO's from Nottingham, I'm hoping to raise awareness of a problem that typically gets swept under the carpet.

Homelessness…

Most of us see the problem every day. Until recently, like many others, I made assumptions about the person(s) sleeping rough, and moved on. Maybe the same thought just crossed your mind?

But the problem is far bigger than just sleeping rough. Nobody chooses to be homeless; the reasons can be very complicated and are always challenging to resolve.

All funds will go directly to 4 local charities - Emmanuel House, The Friary, Trent Bridge Community Trust and Notts County's Football in the Community - all of which do a great deal to prevent homelessness before it happens, or get people back on their feet if it does.

Any and every donation is welcomed - I've set an ambitious target, and really hope you can help towards it.
