Hi there ????. Ready to lead? "Acts of Leadership" helps people, (irrespective of title or tenure), expand their leadership range one experiment at a time. Each issue shares a [pro/e]vocative definition of leadership, an idea and an experiment.
Here's what I need help with
I'm looking for real world testimonials for the Acts Of Leadership newsletter.
If you get vale from from it, will you write a short testimonial for me?
Details below the line ???? (See How To Help below)
At the heart of vulnerable leadership is knowing (and being okay with knowing it) that you don't have all the answers. Being comfortable with saying,
"I don't know".
Even harder than that, perhaps, is asking for help.
I was a participant on a leadership program once, where as a group we played an activity that involved attaining a certain goal whilst blindfolded. It was actually a designed experience around how we were with asking for help.
The beauty of having experts design specific experiences is that it becomes a powerful way to really understand an idea.
A teacher can teach this stuff all day long and have no impact.
But have someone experience an idea directly, viscerally, in the moment, to have an embodied sense and reaction to an idea, is powerful indeed.
If this Acts Of Leadership is about anything, it is about the invitation to practice, to consciously expand your leadership range by running real experiments.
So here's me doing it.
"Please can you help me?"
I have one, very specific, simple ask.
A Definition…
"Leadership is...asking for the help you need ."
An Idea…
Word of mouth
If you enjoy receiving the Acts Of Leadership newsletter and find value in it, will you write to me with a short testimonial?
I have a vision of growing a broader community of people engaged with their leadership.
So I want to share real world impact from real world leaders who get some value from my writing.
Just 1 sentence, or 1 paragraph, and your first name.
? What do you look forward to about it?
? What's 1 way it's helped you?
? What action have you been inspired to take?
? How has it informed your thinking?
? What's changing for you?
I want to share testimonials on the email signup page.
I might share in a LinkedIn post.
I want to attract more people into conversations on leadership and I want to invite more people into action, to run experiments and generate feedback, to expand their leadership impact, one experiment, one learning, at a time.
