These are intense methods. Buckle up.

Take these actions TODAY:

  • Call 100 people a day. Set it up in 15 minute increments and take a 3 minute break. Do this 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the afternoon. You could also use LinkedIn messenger.
  • Walk into every business in your town or city center, and ask to talk to the owner about giving a seminar for the whole team.
  • Check your email newsletter and ask everyone who read the last five updates to meet with you. If they are paying that much attention to you, it at least crossed their mind.

But if I had to get leads right away to save my business, that is what I would do.

Sara Grillo, CFA That is great practical hard-hitting advice. The first two methods take a level of sales courage and stamina that very few people possess. When you call the people, you need to have an effective presentation ready and do a lot of listening and take notes. You aren't calling to sell a product. You are calling to sell them on the idea of a face-to-face meeting or a Zoom meeting where you can really uncover their needs and share how you can address those needs. Another strategy I would recommend is to rent a list of business owners and professionals in your town and send them a well-written letter introducing yourself and offering a free meeting. It is a relatively inexpensive and quick way to bring yourself to the attention of a few thousand very successful people in your area. Dr. Donald Moine Business Development Strategies
