“I need more energy and always feel tired...”

Especially in this heat...

But

This can show up in lots of ways too.

Exercise,

At home,

At work,

Or even being able to switch off sometimes...

Without energy you can sometimes feel like

You are always busy,

Bit never actually getting the things you want done.

Which I’m itself can drain you.

Here’s a few steps you can take to give you that boost...

And the good news is,

The work,

Are scientifically proven,

And if you are not doing them right now...

You will notice a difference in your day to day living.

1. Hydrate

Massively important for lots of reasons, shoot for 2 litres a day especially in this heat.

2. Take break

You are not a Duracell bunny give yourself a break man, take time out to find some metal and emotional breathing space.

3. Be kind to yourself

Beating yourself up takes energy and drain you at the same time... what are you doing now and what are you working towards... that’s it. Don’t worry about the distant past of future it’s overwhelming and depressing.

4. Connect

Share your thoughts and feelings with others... Get it off your chest. You may be surprised that other people have similar experiences to you which immediately make me you feel at ease.

5. Have days off

This is something I think is key to productivity and vitality. Take a day off. Just do it.

6. Move

Exercise is key to producing those feel good hormones, relieving stress and also keeping in shape. Do what you like and make it part of yo schedule.

7. Journal

Writing down your thoughts and feelings is a great way to save a relationship, marriage and also prevent binge eating as well.

We’ve all had an argument over the dishes which was really about something else right?

Write that stuff down and work through it.

8. Take walks.

It’s literally the first place I start with all my clients... Walking is and should be the foundation of any health, well being and fitness program.

9. Eat protein

Massively key to giving you energy, reducing snacking and also improving your control over your diet, which in turn impact on your overall energy balance.

10. Deep breathing

Get some oxygen in them lungs. We need oxygen to metabolise so if your energy is low take 10 deep breathes and get the body oxygenated and detoxified immediately so you can clear your head and lighten your mood too."I
