Trying to make a difference

During lockdown I wrote a children's book. I'll let you read all about it on the link below but it's basically a combination of little stories I used to tell my children when they were younger. Once I had completed the book, the itch was scratched, but we now had something that we thought we could use to do a little good in the world and so we decided that ALL the royalties from this little book will go to charity. Its a children's book, so we wanted an organization that helped children, for this reason, we chose UNICEF. We will donate the proceeds from this the book to charity for as long as people buy it! However... I have a challenge that I need help with, (Well actually I have 3)....

1. Please help me promote this. It's all well and good writing it and publishing it, but it's useless to the charity, unless people know about it & they buy it. While I'm an outgoing kinda fella, I'm not active on any social platforms except Linked-in and I need help to get the message out. I'm actually very nervous about even posting this, BUT, we are not going to change anything in this world by shying away from it. If we can help even one child, well then, I can suffer a little nervousness. So, if you're active on other platforms or have that one friend (that everyone has) that is all over social media, please pass along the message.
2. If you have kids the right age (0-8yrs) and you can afford it, it will make a great stocking filler and you can read it to your children knowing that the present you bought them helped another child, one that is far less fortunate.
3. If you own a company or are in a position of influence in a company, let's go for the triple, can you buy some books for a children's hospital & other care units for children and promote it on your social media? I will continue to update this post every day until Christmas with updates on sales and if you do this, I will let everyone know what you did.

In return, I will post the results of the sales every week until the new year and then update you all with the total amount. If by ANY chance this takes off, I will ensure that its is verified independently. I'm sure one of the consulting companies would do it for free.

At a min, if you don't have any reason to buy the book, please re-share with your network and on other platforms that you might be on - this will help, and if you just want to make a donation to UNICEF that's perfect too!

1. The links for the Amazon market places are . US, UK, German, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Canada. Its available on Kindle only in Australia, Brazil, India, Mexico & Netherlands. Also, If you have kindle unlimited, it costs you nothing, but by just viewing I think we can generate a small royalty to be put towards the charity.
2. If if you consider buying batch's for hospitals/care agencies and alike you can also contact me directly and we can send them directly to the hospital of your choice with even more going to the charity.
3. If you buy from Amazon, it only shows up when the units are shipped so it takes a few days to come through on the reporting, so we will keep posting the results out well into Jan so that everyone can see the combined results of the collective effort.

UPDATE - I have added the royalties in the comments below this post and I have set a goal of €1K for the charity.
