A living liver transplant has the highest survivability rate, > 90% at 5 years.?It is a surgery that involves removing a portion of a healthy liver from one person and transplanting it into another person.?The alternatives are chemotherapy, radiation, and pharmacological approaches which have a much lower probability of survival.
