Have any of these things happened to you? I've worked with my team over the past year to take our Enterprise curriculum and make it accessible and affordable to a wider audience. We would greatly appreciate your input, comment and own stories of respect and disrespect.

The Roadmap to Respect has been the culmination of mixing The Neuroscience of Respect, Current Workplace Cultures, and Making sure we create inclusive workplace cultures.

Thank you as always for your support!

As a former director of a small-ish design team distanced from the corporate home base, I often wondered why everyone couldn't just get along, both within my team and especially between the home base and remote office. Often the pressure of deadlines and client management prevented enough attention being given to internal relationships. I have always been generous with credit and praise for a job well done, but it seems that's not always enough. I sure hope it was not often misplaced!

Great post Gregg. Your topic is exactly why I am a co-founder of www.StigmaFreeSociety.com It's time we were all more respectful, understanding and accepting of ourselves and others. Stay safe and healthy. Cheers. Dave

I couldn't agree more, respect is the start to developing appreciation. On the first day, I work with my acquired American accent clients on how to conquer communication breakdowns. Commit to a shared process that all stakeholders in the exchange participate in the solution. This is where we start with acquired American accents. Recognize the breakdown. If you are the listener respectfully state what you understood. If you are the speaker, ask what was understood. Next, the speaker can pronounce with focus what was not understood by making speech changes like slowing, considering changes in syllable stress, assess the loudness, or rephrasing. Respect is step one - thanks for distilling the focus to get the energy flowing.

Great, simple and straightforward. I love it, Gregg. Nice job. A great relatable way to present a topic that teams need help with.
