Becoming unshakable and unstoppable.
Yeah, I would love some of that.
To not care less what anyone says or thinks.....
To be indifferent as to what my family want me to do with my life and to go after my dreams regardless.
When I first started my business, I had to go out and hunt for my clients. I had to scratch for my clients. I had to even accept clients that I didn't want to work with, client's who didn't align with my values or my truth.
It was really hard work, and now that I look back, they were really hard times. It was "make or break" a lot of the time between putting my "dreams on ice" and sticking with the corporate world or just going for it.
Every single conversation I had to think "Do I have enough courage to bring up how I can help this person and change their business & life as they know it?"
I help entrepreneurs & business owners build a following online, turn that following into paying clients and then deliver that work in a completely leveraged way to enable you to live your life and contribute back to people.
Once I started getting regular clients, I could finally take a deep breath. Things were at last starting to fall into place.
Except for one important thing.
I sucked at sales.
Once I started getting leads from my Following, Facebook & LinkedIn, I was having some major problems converting those people into paying clients & customers.
Every single day I was getting rejected.
Call after call, email after email, message after message.
It felt so discouraging and disappointing. And it really wore me down. And in truth, I almost gave up. It would have been easier to quit my dream and stick to accounting.
I almost let that rejection define me.
My coach suggested that I start a "Superhero" journal.
A superhero "what" I hear you say?
Well, a Superhero journal is where every single day you enter into a journal the following:
1) What you did well, something amazing that you congratulate & acknowledge yourself for.
2) What you will stop doing, do differently, & discontinue doing. Forgive yourself for whatever it is that you did that you did not like.
3) What you will keep doing and maintaining everyday?
Overtime, this journal becomes an amazing collection of how much you have to offer, how much value you add and your journey of self improvement.
Of how much you are a "superhero".
The act of writing things down creates a new neural pathway to the "thought" and the "acknowledgement to self as value". It distinguishes "who you actually are to self" instead of an unconscious thought pattern of negativity & despair.
Many of my clients find breaking out of their jobs or corporate world challenging. Or even getting their businesses off the ground. They encounter many blocks & problems along the way.
So today, my advice to you is not to build a funnel, prepare a blog, do a webinar, or even to work any harder or smarter.
My advice to you is to start a daily practice of writing in your Superhero journal.
So that you can become unshakable. So that you become unstoppable. So that you become invincible. In the face of all challenge. In the face of all rejection. In the face of all problems, drama, confusion and chaos.
You become unshakable & unstoppable in your life & business.
And become your own superhero.
