From Happy Haven Times
In a delightful twist of nature and innovation, Happy Haven Publishing hosted the highly-anticipated book launch of Spencer Hare's I Moved My Carrot! Taking Charge of Change Before Change Takes Over at the enchanting Happy Haven Palace Gardens last night. The evening was a mesmerizing blend of botanical wonders and thoughtful celebration, centered around the themes of change and proactive management.
Botanical Maze of Self-Discovery
The highlight of the event was the Ai-bot-created botanical maze, a respectful nod to the original "Who Moved My Cheese?" book that inspired Spencer Hare’s take on self-empowered change.
This living labyrinth, designed with various flora, invited guests on a journey of discovery, with each turn symbolizing the choices and changes in life's path. Interactive stations within the maze offered insights into Hare’s book, I Moved My Carrot! including themes of self-reflection.
A Carrot-Themed Celebration
The ambiance was further enlivened with carrot-themed decor and refreshments – from carrot canapés to carrot-topped cupcakes, adding a whimsical touch to the evening. Guests mingled in this vibrant setting, discussing the book's strategies while enjoying the creative culinary delights.
Community Garden and Gallery of Intentions
A significant moment of the evening was the opening of the public garden area where attendees were invited to plant a carrot seed, representing their commitment to embrace and initiate change in their lives.
Alongside, a special "Gallery of Intentions" was set up, where guests could write their goals or aspirations for proactive change on carrot-shaped paper, creating a colorful and inspiring display of collective ambitions.
With seeds of intention planted, Hare's readership and the Happy Haven community hope to decorate the Happy Haven Palace Gardens in a truly communal, thoughtful way. Hare stated, "Change is proactive if we take charge of our mindset, and plant seeds to draw upon resilience when we need it. This book is a special reminder of that. Happy Haven is truly a place that fuels self-confidence at every turn."
I Moved My Carrot! is now available in libraries and bookstores across Happy Haven!
