I LOVE PENARTH PIER CAMPAIGN GRASS ROOTS SUPPORTS GROWS AT CHARITY EVENT TO SUPPORT MARIE CURIE.

I LOVE PENARTH PIER CAMPAIGN GETS BOOST FROM PENARTH COMMUNITY AS CALL TO ACTION GROWS GRASS ROOTS ONE VOTE AT A TIME. CALL FOR ACCOUNTABILITY AND CHOICE TO BUY ICE CREAM FROM ALL.

Grass roots community group who love the Pier, Pavilion and Penarth gathered at All Saints church to help Marie Curie Hospice.

The Pavilion Chair of Trustees and Management may not want the business but the Church came to the rescue.

The event on 17th October 2017 to raise money for Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth was such a delight. With 30 survivors singing their hearts out from Tenovous Cardiff and Emma as usual - the most engaged and wonderful choir mistress I have ever met, leading from the front, the community of Penarth had a treat. Free entry to the event organised by Miss Moo La LA's Wellbeing1world event team, left the audience in tears - of joy to be alive; of admiration for those fighting day by day with such spirit and fortitude.

Pupils from Evenlode read poetry whilst the Head energetically delivered his rendition of Tiger Tiger. Annette Free and Helen Lingard inspired us with positive thoughts and a new way to think about things whilst Robin our Laughter Guru launched the Welsh National Laughter Day for June 2017. There will be 4 events that day embracing the whole community.

The event was so successful the spirit in the community so strong that Phil leading the brass band has now suggested we put on a pre Christmas event; 21 December 2017 ladies and gentlemen - pop it in the diary as we will be singing and brass banding and fox trotting and tangoing in glamour and style at the Paget Rooms in the fashion of Glamour and Style - money raised to Tenovous Cardiff that night says Miss Moo La La.
