I LOVE MY LIFE ??

Hello my lovely community,

Happy Thursday!

This week has been full of meetings, events, and planning. And yes I am finally better and thank you all for the lovely messages.

For those who have been asking when I have time to sleep? Haha. I actually sleep a lot, usually in bed by 9. A big shout out to my team, Lizzie, Kay, Tobi, Naz, Jeff, Titus, Temi and Jenn. It is team work that makes the dream work.

I also started coworking at Bond Collective. My first time using a coworking office. Loving it so far but I definitely miss Lazarus and Cosmic. If anyone wants to join me one day at Bond, LMK.

OHHHHHH. And major lesson for the week. Never tell my mom that I am sick again. My poor mom. On Monday night, Mom found out this Taiwanese pop star, Barbie Hsu, passed away from complications from the flu within four days of being sick while she was on vacation in Tokyo.

Then mom couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking that I was still super sick from my first Texas flu. Oh mom. I asked mom why didn’t she just call or text, but I know she didn’t want to disturb me at work. But honestly, nothing else matters in life except for those I love. I would have dropped everything to answer, always.

I am so incredibly lucky that my folks are rock solid. So incredibly lucky and I am so grateful for them. Kind of wish dad wouldn’t message me on TikTok though, since I didn’t check TikTok for over four months…

But seriously. Can’t tell mom ever again that I’m sick. I honestly cannot imagine how mom was able to handle me living in 8 different countries across 4 continents when she lost sleep knowing I have the flu.

OH. And had another Deal Room event last night with my cohost Daniel R. Pettit , my go-to Commercial Real Estate realtor and connector. Daniel and I bring together real estate deal seekers and those who have deals. I was very inspired lately to actually start planning and operating my own coworking space.

This would be epic as y'all know I run a lot of events for entrepreneurs, and would be great if we can have our own space. So if you know anyone who would like to invest, or provide the space in and around East Austin/Downtown (think of me taking over Indeed, Realtor.com, Google, Meta offices and turning those into a coworking office), let's make this happen, LMK.
