Australia Day is one of the best days in my busy calendar for the year! The excitement and jubilation that our newest citizens experience when they take their oath, serves to remind me that we are so lucky to be living in this country. What we often take for granted is so desired by others, who to come to our shores with hopes for a better future for themselves and their families.

I am proud to be an Australian and am thankful that my parents chose to emigrate here post WW11. They have provided an enduring legacy for myself and my family that I am eternally grateful for.
