"If I look at their LinkedIn page too much it will creep them out?"
Sara Grillo, CFA
Bringing transparency and logic to financial advisor marketing
Question from a subscriber: "I want to know what my prospects are doing and research them before we meet. Am I crazy for worrying that if I look at their LinkedIn page too much it will creep them out?"
No, your hesitation is smart.
It is unlikely that someone is going to pay much attention to who is viewing their page. Usually they need to be on a paid subscription on LinkedIn to see that anyways.
However, it would be a shame to lose a prospect because someone felt you came too close for comfort.

True story. I created my LinkedIn training program based on a tough time I had when I was starting out as an insurance agent.
I had two babies under two years old, and was making $200 commissions on term life policies. I wanted to get marketing help but it was way beyond my means. I wound up quitting because the stress was so high I was getting migraines and panic attacks at night. No lie, you can ask Antonio.
My LinkedIn training program offers one weekly LinkedIn newsletter, a content library, and a live webinar once a month where you can fire all your questions at me for an hour. It is $35 a month with a one time fee that I can waive if it is a hardship. I thought it would be affordable for people who were starting out or for whatever reason just don't have a ton to spend.
If you can't even afford that, then please send me a message and I can provide you with free articles and see what else I can do. Honestly I just don't want anyone to feel like they don't have anywhere to turn.
