I know you’re a high performer

I know you’re a high performer

Have you lost your confidence? ???

It’s easy to accept that you’re not a high performer.

But I know otherwise - you’re fantastic!?

Very often, the one thing holding you back is thinking you need to do everything in your to-do list by the end of the day.

?So, here’s how to become everything I know you can be and more:

??? #1. One of the overused terms is making your goals S.M.A.R.T.

????????To make your goal smart, start with T-Time bound.

????????When you decide on a goal, don’t think I will do this work 5 days a day and achieve my goal.

????????We all have only 24 hours a day.

????????Time is a limited resource.

????????You can’t beg, borrow or steal time.

????????You can only spend it, need smart strategies to earn it.

????????Decide how much time you can afford from your routine schedule to work on your new goal.

????????There could be some non-negotiable time blocks like- dropping your kids at school or your business routines.

After you subtract all your routine time, non-negotiable, you can arrive at the exact time you can spend for each day to work on your goals.

This method can give you a realistic view of your time calendar.?

Once you are clear about T in your S.M.A.R.T- other things will follow.

??? #2 - Keeping track of all the things you do in your routine and awareness of the approximate time it takes to do.

Highly successful entrepreneurs and professionals easily forget the time it takes to get ready for your workplace.

In the morning, after completing your morning chores, you may plan to start around 9:10 a.m. to reach your office by 10 a.m.

How many of you reach by 10 am most of the time?

When you plan to start around 9:10 am, you forget that you need to keep your car keys, bag, lunch box and all the other essentials by 9:10 am.

Most of us may be starting to realise that you need to have all these things around 9:10 a.m. or think it will take only 2 minutes to do this.

Keeping track of how much time it will take to keep your car keys, lunch box, bags/laptops/mobile phones will give you real insights into the same.

Stop blaming the traffic jams and all the unexpected things that happen in between.

Focus on the things in your control.

A high performer is aware of his time management.

?? #3 - Focus on your journey. Quit comparing your progress to that of others. It’s not a race. There are no rules.?

My favourite lines from Becoming, written by Michelle Obama,

“If you don't get out there and define yourself, you'll be quickly and inaccurately defined by others. For me, becoming isn't about arriving somewhere or achieving a certain aim. I see it instead as forward motion, a means of evolving, a way to reach continuously toward a better self”.

Go at your own pace!?

Don’t give up because you’ve lost your confidence.?

This setback is only a small part of your journey.?

You can get back on track by following these simple tips! ??
