I know you want to be ASKED…

YES, you’re an expert…you really are.

AND it’s not like you just came into the industry either, you’ve been doing it a while now.

Not months… we’re talking years or decades, right?

So why aren’t more people asking you to work with them?

I don’t mean, coffee chat ?? where people pick your brain for an hour.

I mean, prospects contacting you to pay you for your help.

Well, I actually know why.

It was something I learned while being the National President of Professional Speakers Australia.

It’s not really a secret, but no one is really talking about it.

Want to know the reason?

If not, stop reading now, you’re busy, and I don’t want to waste your time.

But, if you have a minute I’ll share.

By the way, it took me a few years to realise this one.

AND, it works for consultants as well as professional speakers

The cool thing is…

  • It has nothing to do with your authority on social media.
  • Nothing to do with how you’re positioned in the market.
  • It has nothing to do with your offer.
  • AND it has NOTHING to do with your website.

For years I’ve seen hundreds of speakers focusing on all of the things above, still getting nowhere.

While a small group of speakers were killing it.?

The difference is this…

…Those who are NOT earning the $$$$$ they WANT are simply WAITING to be asked.

WAITING for someone to contact them and say “Will you work with us. Will you speak at our conference?”.

While those that are earning good money are not waiting for anyone.

They are ASKING to be ASKED!

Literally, contacting buyers and saying, “You should ask me to speak”.

OR “Isn’t it about time we worked together?”.

It’s that simple.

Yet I only see the top 10% of money earners doing it.

I’m not talking about promos or ads.

I’m just talking about good conversations with good people.

Why don’t you try it right now?

Call someone you’ve been considering working with.

Especially, someone, you have a relationship with.

You know they need your help.

They even admit they have a problem (it’s a problem you solve!).

AVOID the dance of WAITING to be asked…

…and ASK THEM to ASK YOU instead.

“Hey, you should ask me to speak at your convention this year”

OR

“Hey, you should ask me to help you with that thing”.

What’s the worse that could happen??

They may finally tell you WHY they haven’t asked (useful intel).

Most likely they will say, I’ve never really thought about it (because people are busy dealing with their own ‘stuff’).

Guess what? They’re thinking about you now.

OR, they may say, “You know you’re right, let’s schedule something in”.

In my experience, this last one happens about 30% of the time.

So ask 3 people and see what happens.

DO IT, then tell me how it went.

I want to know!
