"I know we can be a successful country"
This is how the businessman Romano Sforza defined Argentina when he received an honorable distinction. To celebrate the Homeland Day at a distance, in the city of Madrid, Spain, a special meeting was organized on May 24 at the Argentine Embassy, commanded by Mr. Ramón Puerta.
The celebration of May 25 was held with the launching of the "Argentines who live abroad" award to celebrate those who, with hard work and effort, carry national pride for the world.
There he recognized Omar Romano Sforza, an Argentine businessman who founded a veterinary laboratory. It started as a small company and today represents an exemplary model of international expansion.
Sforza was recognized as "Argentina's outstanding personality of the year in the Kingdom of Spain."
Romano Sforza is co-founder of Bedson with the late Dr. Arnaldo D. Colusi, a veterinary laboratory that started in 1979 in the town of Pilar, Buenos Aires, where Its plant employs more than 80 people, and it managed to become an ultra exporter and reach 50 countries around the world in five continents.
They have subsidiaries in Argentina, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, the USA, Spain, Lebanon and Malaysia.
Romano Sforza was responsible for the internationalization strategy of the company and its commercial technical positioning in the world.
In front of an audience of more than 300 guests, Sforza, who is based in Europe more than a decade ago, thanked the Argentine Government in the name of President Mauricio Macri, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador Don Ramón Puerta for such an honorable distinction. With heartfelt words the winner said:
"Thanks to everyone for the support and recognition of my person and the company. Distinctions are caresses for the spirit. Thanks to all past and present people for the team work which shows us a very positive balance of successes in the face of mistakes. Always present the figure of my friend and partner Arnaldo Colusi his contribution and wisdom allowed us to grow when very few believed, "said Romano Sforza at the ceremony held in Madrid.
"The global veterinary industry changes today more than ever and Bedson has a beautiful project and purpose for the future, adapting its strategy to change. Thanks and we continue together today more than ever, "added the businessman.
Omar Romano Sforza, is currently the Advisory Director of the Peruvian business group Armejo Yépez, he also practices journalism and is a member of the ACPE, Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in Spain.
